Roadhawk DC-2

The Roadhawk DC-2 forward-facing camera offers up to 1080p resolution (scalable to 720p or 480p for longer record times), a low-light sensor, GPS receiver, G-force sensor, SDXC memory compatibility and image stabilization.

The camera works on a loop recording system, overwriting the oldest files as it records.  If it detects an impact, the camera creates an ‘event’ file.  Event files are not overwritten unless they exceed 40% of the capacity of the memory card, at which point the oldest file will be overwritten first.

Options include:  GPS antenna, remote event trigger, alarm output trigger (which integrates to our tracking systems), locking box and suction mount.

RoadHawk dash-cams are designed based on the feedback from our customers and are compatible with construction in use regulations for motor vehicles, which ensures that when fitted correctly they are legal to use and will not fail an MOT or leave you contravening VOSA regulations.

The DC-2 usually mounts behind your rear view mirror. Enough cable is provided to route the power to the camera around the screen and to the accessory socket, making the installation look professional and virtually impossible to see from a normal driving position.

Most customers tell us they can install the RoadHawk dash-cam themselves out of the box in under 15 minutes but we do, of course, offer our full professional installation option.

Roadhawk HD-2

If you want the Rolls-Royce of Dashcams look no further. The RoadHawk HD-2 represents the pinnacle of current dash cam technology and is our most advanced camera to date.

It is able to provide amazing, high-resolution, crisp, SuperHD footage and unrivalled low-light / night vision, ensuring that your business is completely protected in all conditions.  The RoadHawk HD-2 is designed and developed in the UK, ensuring that it meets the needs and safety standards of the UK market.

It uses the Ambarella A7L chipset, one of the most advanced on the market, used in the world’s leading action cameras, to supply some of the highest quality footage seen on a dash cam to date with the ability to record at resolutions including SuperHD (2304x1296p) and 1080p at 60fps.

High Dynamic Range (HDR) allows the camera to meter for light and dark areas of video, combining them to create the best possible image quality at all times in all lighting conditions.

Even though the RoadHawk HD-2 features a 125 degree wide angle lens, the de-warp technology ensures there is no distortion all the way to the edge of the image and Electronic Image Stabilisation EIS ensures that RoadHawk HD-2 footage is able to soak up vibrations while driving, keeping the footage stable and sharp.

At 10Hz, the GPS in the RoadHawk HD-2 features the most accurate GPS available in any dash cam and is more accurate than that of most sat navs on the market right now. The RoadHawk HD-2 includes a 16GB SDHC memory card and, unlike most other SD cameras, it is capable of using up to 512GB SDXC memory cards, the highest capacity cards currently available.

A 3-Axis G-force sensor is activated automatically from the impact of a collision to detect shocks to the vehicle or via the ‘Event’ button on the rear of the camera or remotely using the optional remote button.

We have a full range of accessories available for the HD-2, including suction mounts, remote event buttons, connectivity options for telematics devices, locking solutions, extended GPS antennas and easy fit hard wiring kits.

Roadwatch Live

Compact single lens 3G HD Camera with real-time notifications and driver behaviour monitoring. Second camera available.

Roadwatch Live is our real-time 3G camera system. It's the next-generation, high-reliability camera, providing remote access of recordings and real-time video retrieval providing you with a picture of what really happened.

If you have a large fleet of vehicles and you need a camera system that does more than just protect against accidents, or you can’t easily get to your vehicles to recover the footage, then you need more than an SD card-based system.

Videos that are triggered by events such as accidents, harsh braking, acceleration and cornering are immediately uploaded to our servers. Notifications are also sent to the system user who can securely view the incident as soon as it has happened, together with events leading up to it.

There is no need for physical access to the vehicle to retrieve the footage and Roadsense provides proactive monitoring for each system, ensuring reliability and peace of mind.

Full-integration into the Roadsense safety module provides all the information you need to reduce accidents and risk. Using this dedicated Roadsense module, the system provides live incident reports with the ability to drill-down to view real-time video footage generated by the camera, both immediately before and after the event. It can also be fully integrated as part of the Roadsense telematics system, which expands the functionality to include the recording of virtually any telematics events, such as door opening and closing or speeding.

This camera also functions as a fully features tracking unit so you only need a single hardware unit. Take a look at Roadwatch Live Plus below for full details.

The system continuously records and stores video and its non-volatile memory overcomes all of the limitations of SD card-only camera systems.

Roadwatch Multiview Live

Premium quality multi-channel fleet CCTV system with true Real-Time Video and video-on-demand

For the ultimate in protection, Roadwatch Multiview Live uses patented technology to provide high-quality, real-time live, video streaming and on-demand streaming of recorded videos, even over low-bandwidth 2G networks. Ideal for high-security and high-risk applications.

Many businesses have high security applications or a requirement to monitor high-value cargo or passengers in actual real-time.

Our new Multiview Live system provides high-quality, real-time live-video streaming and on-demand streaming of recorded videos, even over low-bandwidth 2G networks.

Unique, patented compression algorithms allow constant monitoring of both video and audio from multiple cameras around a vehicle, allowing fleet operators to maintain close contact at all times.

With the click of a single button, real-time streaming is initiated and the fleet operator can watch live footage of their vehicles from multiple cameras and initiate one or two-way audio communications with the driver over the cellular network.

Video is recorded constantly from multiple cameras. It can be stored on the vehicle for several weeks and then be instantly accessed to be streamed back or transmitted to our servers after incidents or events, for long-term storage.

For emergency situations, panic buttons and triggers can be installed that send alert notifications and commence real-time streaming to the system operator. For example door openings in high value cargo transit.

Two, four, eight or sixteen channel Digital Video Recording (DVR) systems are available in both Standard Definition or High Defnition and all are optimised for streaming high-quality video at extremely low bit rates, making it an ideal solution for the remote monitoring of vehicles and other mobile and remote platforms.

In-cab monitors can also be provided so that drivers can see what is going on at every corner of their vehicle at a glance.

Features

  • One to sixteen cameras provide complete 360 degree views
